At ProStep Rehab in Delavan we provide Comprehensive Outpatient Physical, Occupational, Speech and Aquatic Therapies.
Physical Therapy: Physical therapy focuses on the prevention and/or treatment of physical problems such as weakness, poor coordination and impaired balance, pain and movement dysfunction through physical modalities, hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.
Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapists work with individuals to help regain their independence in order to allow them to live productive, satisfying lives while completing normal activities of daily living, through physical modalities, hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.
Speech Therapy: Speech/language pathologists provide both evaluation and treatment to individuals with hearing impairments, language, voice, articulation, dysarthria, apraxia and fluency disorders. They are also trained to address swallowing disorders, work and laryngectomy patients and facilitate augmentative communication.
Aquatic Therapy: At ProStep in Delavan, we have therapists certified in providing aquatic therapy with specialized training. We provide therapy in a therapeutic pool with the temperature at 85 degrees. Aquatic therapy provides beneficial unloading of painful, arthritic joints such as knees, hips and the spine. It is ideal for many diagnoses including orthopedic patients, patients with painful arthritis and many other degenerative disorders.
